About Us
Kapwa, is the Filipino concept of shared identity—an ideology that recognises the connection between us as individuals and the greater ecosystem of life. Celebrating our unity as humans, and the connection within our environments. Based in Belfast, Northern Ireland, our international team helps bring together diverse perspectives and expertise from around the world to create something truly unique.
Our journey started when we couldn’t find clothes that spoke to us—styles that felt like us or brands with stories we could believe in. We were tired of seeing clothes made from synthetic materials by companies that didn’t seem to care about their impact on the planet.
That’s why we created Kapwa. We’re here to design clothes and experiences that reflect who we are, with a focus on self-expression, community, and doing right by the environment. We’re all part of this journey together, and we’re excited to share it with you.

Sustainability
Our goal has always been to make Kapwa sustainable, keeping this at the core of every decision.
Breaking away from the global standard of fast fashion is as important to us as it is to you. That’s why we only use renewable materials in our products and packaging, aiming to reduce our carbon footprint wherever possible and ensuring everything is built to last. We want you to see our products as long-lasting investments to enjoy for years. Our trusted manufacturers are a big part of what makes this happen and we are proud to partner with suppliers who share our commitment to ethical and sustainable practices.
We recognise that our supply chain is far from perfect and that our work in this area will never be finished. We’re committed to continually improving and optimising our operations for sustainability, guided by the latest data and research. With your support, we aim to set a high standard for sustainability in the fashion industry. Kapwa is about connection and relationships, both with the people around you and with nature. This definition is the heart of Kapwa, which is why we care so much about making a difference.
